Hey everyone!

  We are going try a new season of the MPC with some changes.  If we can get 18 – 20 committed people we can go ahead.  Please let me know by email mjmaillet@rogers.com or messenger by Wednesday, September 21^st if you intend to play.

Instead of a game every 2 weeks for $20  - 25, we will have a monthly game for $40.  $10 from every game will go towards the finals.

There will be 8 games.  Then a Finals.

The finals will cost $20 plus $10 for eve

A few of you have been asking about wether or not there will be a new season starting soon.

At this moment, there will NOT be a new season of poker starting in 2020.

We will revisit this in the new year and see if a shortened season can be played or if it will be scrapped all together.

What a season #18 was for us and the MPC!
Thanks to each and every one of you for making this a fun action pack season of poker!

Congrats to Dan Goguen for being Player of the year for the 2^nd straight year!

Due to Covid we had to change things up a bit with a multi-location final tournament.

Here are some pics of the shenanigans:

The New Brunswick government has not increased the number of people that are allowed for an inside gathering.

We were hoping that is would get increased this week to more than 10. It did not.

Our fear is that someone sees all the vehicles in our driveway and calls the cops and then we are risking a $10,000 fine.

I don’t know about you, but we are not comfortable taking that risk J

So to keep in check with the health departments guidelines we are going to be splitting the Championship game and hosting in 2 locations at the same time!

Im sure this does not come as a surprise to you but we will be suspending the MPC season until further notice.

The next 2 games will be cancelled and we will revisit the situation to determine if the game on April 24th can be played.

If the game on April 24th cannot be played then the season will be over and the current standings will be the final season standings.

I'm hoping that we can play the Championship game on May 2nd but we may need to move that based on the situation of the pandemic at that time.

I just wanted to send out a huge thank you to all for making Season 17 a success!

Congratulations to our Player of the Year and defending Season 16 champ Dan Goguen!

Dan went all out and gave the MPC trophy the Stanley Cup treatment! LOVE IT!

After the dust settled around the Championship game, the MPC crowned its first ever 3 Time Champ!!!

A little late but just wanted to thank everyone who came to the Christmas game!  Lots of fun was had.  Thanks to all those who brought stuff like Jim's pizza and the Melansons' Benedictine Liqueur.  Merry Christmas and see you in 2019.
