Most Memorable Moment

When i Won my biggest pot ever at the casino playing cash. i had some crazy players sitting at the table so let me explain the hand.

so i had a drunk old man to my right who was getting really angry at this young kid who just sat down and was raising like $20-$30 preflop every hand. anyway the old man beside me limps in for $2 as do i with JJ and short stack behind me who had about $100 (ya short stack lol) limps in also. the kid as expected bets $30 guy in the corn calls him the old man beside me shoves all in for $200. honestly i felt he was to drunk to be making some kind of be move with AA KK or QQ. i felt that i actually had him crushed as maybe he had like 88 or 99. so i re shove all in for about $300. short stack beside me says awww fuck it im all in puts his $100 in the agressive kid was thinking and then the old man insults him and kid gets mad and puts his $250 in the pot and the other guy in the corner folds. anyway we all flip our hands because i asked if they wanted to.

Drunk old man - 22

me - JJ

short stack- 44

the agressive kid- KJ off

pot was over $800+  anyway im in really good shape in the hand but we are seeing all 5 cards and i need to dodge some outs. dont remember the flop but i ended up winning with my JJ. what a sick hand

Least Memorable Moment

my first MPC finals where i had Qd 10d  2.5x it preflop and got 2 callers

flop Q 10 4 Rainbow. im short stack with about 800 chips and everyone else has over 1200+ im first to act and i bet out and then got reraised. then other calls the reraise and then i reraised the raise commiting myself to the pot and the reraisaer shoves other folds and im in a crappy ass spot. no one would prob beleive me but there is no was he can have anything less then a set here. had i actually had more chips in the finals i would of folded.  anyway he flips over 10 10 and i said heh actually put you on a set of 4s. i was reading the table very well that day. Thats Poker.

Person You Want To See Lose

watching someone lose isnt fun.

as long as it aint me. i dont care who it is.

How I Started Playing Poker

My friends started playing after one of there fathers played in a tourny in halifax and won alot of money. hes played in the WOSP main event (10k buyin) after winning it on Pokerstars.

started playing $5 games. i was new to the game but i told them if they taught me to play that i would become very good at it. and well personally i do feel i am quite good :P

we then started playing at shakers $1-$2 blinds and buying in for $40 at a time. my friend alex and i split what ever we won. but we were never afriad to get into a pot with each other. we made about $1000 bucks each that summer.

after this my friend mark powers started playing this agressive style of poker and was doing well at it

we then learned his style of play and now our group is a solid group of players. we really learned well from each other.
