Let me explain to everybody a mathematical fact:
(Texas Hold'em Poker + 10:00PM Start Time) / (6 hours of CRAZY playing + 4AM Quitting Time) x 3 Games = GREAT NIGHT to the power of infinity bad beats

And by 3 things sticking out in my mind I really meant 2.... was a late night

The plan was to host a weeknight cash game so nobody would be forced tostay late if they didn't want to. The thing is the only people who signed up to play could only make it at around 930ish. So when everybody got there we decided to play a classic tournament style match. The game went by relatively fast... I think we played for around 3 hours. Dave took it down. I don't really remember many details other than I rebought after Sylvain took me out with his pocket J's vs my pocket 10's (the lucky streak continues!)
3 things stick out in my mind from last night's games #1 Bawlzie went all in and got called by Dave and Sylvain. Flop hits QQ* Sylvain goes all in and Dave folds. Sylvain flips over Q* and Bawlzie flips A*. At this point Bawlzie needs a 0.5% runner runner ACES to take it down. We decide to look in the muck to see if any of his aces are in there (just to add to the excitement). No aces in muck. Dealer burns face up (again to get the rush right up there) burn is an ace. This is where it gets crazy. The TURN is an ace. So now Bawlzie needs the one remaining ace in the deck to take it down. dealer burns face up..... ACE!!!! his 3 aces were back to back to back in the deck... What are the odds of that? (NOT 50/50)
Secondly in our last game we're down to heads up between 50/50 and his super-arch-nemesis.... Bawlzie. We play what seems to be 100 hands and it seemd that every time I had a monster hand Bawlzie folded preflop (i can remember QQ, AK, AJ, AQ... it was crazy) and then it finally happened. I'm in the big blind and get pocket K's, Bawlzie calls the blind and I raise 300, Bawlzie pushes all in and i immediately call, the final showdown of the night was KK vs K9. I FINALLY took Bawlzie out and won the third game of the night. What an awesome time!
