So, the chances of getting a royal flush is one in 649,740. Does that mean we've seen almost 650,000 hands?

Congrats to Lindsay for dealing herself Aces, and then putting putting the community cards out there to give herself a royal flush. I don't think it was rigged at all. ![]()
But seriously. Congrats. That's pretty crazy. Thanks to everybody who came out... it was a good time. Everybody was pretty lively and it always makes the games more interesting. See y'all at the next game.

Oh, by the way, good check on the river when you were last to act. You never know, he could have had a royal flush in hearts, and we all know that hearts > spades.

FYI
In Italy (and MPC) there is a generally accepted ranking of suits in poker. The ranking is: hearts (high), diamonds, clubs, spades (low). These ranks are used to break ties between otherwise equal hands.

Since I had a front row seat......I think Lindsay wasn't sure if you still got points if you didn't have to show the winning hand... just might have been the shock...just maybe.....Roland's 2 pair on the flop (King & Jacks) were so crushed!!
Now what are the odds of losing to 2 Royal Flushes on 2 consecutive weekends? We played a small 7 person tourney the weekend before.....& Matt beat Roland with a Royal Flush.
(Per Marc this is better than Lindsay's since it was Diamonds LOL)
Roland must deserve some kind of honorable mention for this kind of hard luck!! (Sorry Roland) hehe

WTF are you amatures talking about? It's impossible to have 2 different suits of Royal Flush or any flush in any poker showdown game.
No wonder Lindasy doesn't respond.
