Two things...

Hey guys!

First of all, I spoke briefly about the writing of news articles at the end of last season, but I wanted to make it official.

This season, I would really love for everybody to get involved in writing articles for each game that we play. Ideally, we have one article for every game. I, personally, would find it super interesting to read a person's take on a particular game, plus have all the details of the game on the site - just for historical purposes.

Therefore, I'm going to raffle off a prize package with the following super nice gear:

• Betfair Fleece Jacket
• Betfair Golf Shirt
• Poker Superstars T-Shirt

How do I win?
Every time a person writes a news article, they get one ballot. At the end of the season, I'll draw for the prize package. If a player decides to take the initiative and write every article, well, the clothing is basically yours!

How do I post?
On the MonctonPokerClub.com website, once you've logged in, you'll see a “Post Article” link under Player Utilities. Once it's submitted, it is sent to the site administrators for approval (currently, the only site administrators are Todd and myself). We will never reject any posts – we just skim through it quick mostly to control any spelling/grammatical errors.

What if there are multiple posts?
As mentioned, we will never reject any posts. If two players decide to write on the same game, great! We get to see the point of view of two players. And both players will receive ballots.


Second of all, I just wanted to point out two things on the MonctonPokerClub.com site. The first is the new search feature. You can now search for games or news articles by date, author, or key word. Kind of cool… The second is the Message Board. It's an effin' ghost town! If you don't have an ID, you should register. If you already have an ID, POST! Let's start talking poker!
