Well, well, well. The 1st "Big Pot" was.... how can I put it? BIG! It's kind of funny how the big pot game is the 1st time all 10 of the points players actually played together!!
The game which started at 7:30, lasted until 2am was full of ups and downs, good lay downs, bad calls, lucky draws, crazy all ins (with 83 off suits), folding pocket Q's!!! You name it, it happened.
After all the smoke cleared, we crowned our 1st ever Champion!
Congratulations to Darren Bawlser, All the way from short stack to Moncton Poker Club Champion!
Now that we have our champion, we can get started on dethroning him! That's right folks; Season 2 is ready to rock and roll, with a field of 16 players.
So start booking those points games and let's shuffle up and deal!

Congrats Darren! You worked your way from shortstack to REALLY shortstack at 2x BB to Champ. I'll say you got lucky a few times, but your win is well deserved.
